They’re the 2021 Australian Sidecar Champions but earlier on that April title night in Mildura there were at least two moments where that dream might have become a nightmare.

In a sport where you make your own luck though and nothing ever comes easy they picked themselves up, got on with the job and added an Australian Championship victory to a career that already glitters with starring achievements.

It was a popular win.

Because fans, rivals and industry respect the way that “Welby and Pitty” go about their racing.

And, if you’re holding this bottle in your hands right now it’s because that respect is mutual and the boys appreciate how much you’ve been there as the 75 became A1.
