Methanol Moonshine HQ50
HQ50 HERALDS A HALF CENTURY OF HEROICS
There was no better way to do it really.
No ‘more Australian’ way either.
To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the birth of one of God’s greatest creations – the impossible to imitate or duplicate humble HQ Holden – they needed to do something special.
Something iconic at Australia’s most iconic Mountain.
Mount Panorama that is.
So, the HQ50 collected 50 “Qies” together for a 50km race to the top and back.
Holden devotees wiped a collective nostalgic tear from their eyes.
The sight of the General’s best marching in pack formation out of Hell Corner and shortly after flat stick down Conrod was the ultimate tribute.
It couldn’t and doesn’t get any better.
The HQ Holden and Bathurst.
Two of the greatest Aussie bucket lists known to man.
